The Value of Counseling

You'll find my standard fees listed below. I offer these fees as a general guideline, and I also understand that lack of money keeps many from reaching out for help. With the belief that each human deserves a chance to connect with a strong sense of self -- to thrive -- I do my best to meet each person where he/she is at emotionally, cognitively, spiritually, physically, and financially. Come in for a free initial session and tell me where you're at.  If I can't meet you or if you don't feel ready for whatever reason, then I'll help you find a better fit for you and your situation.

Pay In Session

I accept cash, check, credit, or debit (including Mastercard or Visa). Most HSA cards will work, though sometimes you must check with employer or card provider to make sure Lifekey Counseling is listed as a healthcare provider and therefore an acceptable expense. You may always pay ahead if you prefer.

Low-Fee Sessions

*I do keep low-fee timeslots available for those facing financial challenges. Money need not be a barrier to human connection.  Please inquire. If the slots are full or our schedules just do not match, I can help you find low-cost help elsewhere or we might arrange for sessions every other week or once per month.  If you like, I can keep your name on a list and notify you when a slot becomes available.

Insurance

I am a preferred provider for Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS, including Regence, Anthem, etc.), Bridgespan, Evernorth (Cigna), Compsych, Coventry, MHN, Moda, PacificSource (Pacific Source), Providence.  (As of 2023, no longer accepting United/Optum...) If you have another insurance with out-of-network benefits, I would be happy to bill them for you or provide you with a superbill so you can seek reimbursement on your own.
